Today I am going to concentrate on thing and that is reminding y’all to go check your boobies. This reminder comes in the form of writing and my personal video. So, come on down and take a seat! This is one I did for a non-profit that teaches women about breast cancer and how to check their boobs. Contrary to popular belief, males can get breast cancer as well. Cancer awareness is always a priority.


Although more rare, it is not unheard of and besides, it is always good to check your moobs along with your franks and beans. Upload your creations for people to see, favourite and share. Tell the community what’s on your mind. Ladies, check your boobies ! If you are pre-menopausal, set a regular time to examine your breasts a few days after your period ends, when hormone levels are relatively stable and breasts are less tender.


If you are already menopausal (have not had a period for a year or more), pick a particular day of the month to do the exam and then repeat your BSE on that day each month. There’s no right or wrong way to check your breasts for any changes but get used to looking at and feeling your breasts regularly. You can do this in the bath or shower, when you use body lotion, or when you get dressed – whatever suits you best.


Remember to check all parts of your breast, your armpits and up to your collarbone.

Frequent at-home exams allow you to get an awareness of how your breasts look and feel, so you can alert your doctor if there are any changes. We created this non-profit organization to educate women about breast health in a frank, fun, and fear-free manner. But it is important to know how your breasts usually look and feel. That way, you can spot any changes quickly and report them to your GP.


This organization has been in operation for years, which makes it younger than other nonprofits in the state. Conversations around breasts and breast self exams (BSEs) remove the taboo surrounding the concepts of sex and cancer, empowering women to take charge of their own health.
