Thailand july weather

In many ways the weather in Thailand in July is just a continuation of what most of the country has seen in June. Both the north and south of Thailand see about the same temperature range and similar or slightly heavier levels of rainfall. Temperatures drop slightly throughout Thailand in July (avg temp: - 29°C), and as the month progresses, rainfall will increase with short daily showers likely to become more prolonged as you move towards August, and some of the heaviest rains of the year. Monsoon season is well under way in July with rainfall increasing from June and further increasing towards the end of the monsoon season. As the month progresses, rainfall increases in certain parts, especially since August and September are the main monsoon months. The weather is cool yet humi with temperatures averaging about degrees. Although June marks the start of the rainy season for many areas of Thailand it’s usually in July , particularly the latter part of the month, when rainfall levels steadily begin to increase.


That certainly doesn’t mean your trip is going to be ruined by the weather and it can still be an excellent month to visit. Whilst far from guarantee there is a reasonable chance of rain throughout much of Thailand in June. In July , the sun normally shines for hours per day as temperatures stay high.


Some people find it too humid in Bangkok at this time of year, with temperatures normally settling between 26°C and 33°C, though you may expect 180mm of rainfall over the course of days, much rainier than the colder. The southwest monsoon season is now in full swing, with 264. My wife and I, along with another couple, are interested in traveling to Thailand in July. Our concern is the weather as we have read that this. The climate in Pattaya during July can be summarized as very hot, humid and a little damp.

At this time in Thailand high humidity, which, together with the hot sun doing a long exposure to the outdoors is not quite comfortable. July is an excellent month for swimming in Krabi with very warm sea temperatures. July is a hot and slightly rainy time for sunbathing in Krabi.

On average July is the 5th wettest month of the year in Bangkok with around 167mm 6. This rainfall is typically spread over days, although this may vary considerably. You should think of how good is Bangkok during July-August. I’ve lived in Bangkok from June to October. Don’t let it alter your travel plans-many Bangkok Thais continue their daily lives.
