Jillian holds an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University, and her writing has appeared in the Paris Review, the New York Times, Vanity Fair, and other publications. She survive but came away from it with scars all over her legs and hands. Her new memoir, Everything You Ever Wante comes out in May.
Jillian is a regular storyteller with The Moth and performs at spoken word and storytelling events across the country. She has been interviewed on The View, Good Morning America and Howard Stern, to name a few. It explains and made me understand her colorful personality and the choices that she made in her life. It made me wonder is she would ever get past her issues and give a better future to ther person at the end of the story. One for me to enjoy, and one for one of my readers.
Initially I was concerned about reading this book because Im quite a book snob, and I was concerned that it wouldn’t be the best and I would still have to power through it, and then find something nice to say on my blog about it. Pretty is pretty and it can get you a few things. And it doesn’t last long so whatever the hell you can do with it while you have it, go ahead and do it.
