Creosote bush for sale

Dark green foliage covers this tough selection and stays on the plant year round. Yellow flowers in the Spring contrast well in any landscape and is at home in the most extreme conditions. It all began in the boat house at the river guiding company that I worked for. Being in and out of the silty, desert Rio Grande River everyday gave the guides painful cracks on their heels and hands.

I did once go for a creosote bush but left empty-hande but this was just because they only had the larger $plants and I was looking for the cheap little ones. To be fair, though, they had just had one of their big, much-attended plant sales and I think that wiped out some of their inventory. Shrubs can elevate an ordinary yard to a luxurious outdoor environment. To achieve this goal it’s important to select the appropriate shrub based on size, water requirements, exposure and appearance.


The smell of creosote after a good rain is the result of many volatile oils, but mostly terpene (a compound found in pines), limonene (citrus), camphor (pines and rosemary), methanol (wood alcohol), and 2-undecanone (spices). Fire keeps creosote bush in check. The creosote bush thrives in the desert.
