Resolution run 5k

Start the New Year in healthy style by planning now to take part in the 3. Walk, run , skip, crawl - JUST GET OUT HERE! The resolution run is a walker friendly event for everyone! This event features a 5K , One Mile and 50m Dash, and is a great way to get the entire family moving.

This fun and festive event will be one to remember!

The 5K race is held at WashPark, on Decemeber 31st, starting at noon. Resolution 5K supports the VOA of Colorado. It is still in Papago park, but we’ve moved to an amazing 5k course that is across the street from the Zoo. THE POLAR BEAR SLIDE Feeling BOLD?

From December you will be able to. Run it on your own - or increase your chance of sticking with your resolution by signing up with a friend or family member. This race welcomes families and participants of all ages to come run or crawl their way to completing their first resolution ! The 5K starts and finishes adjacent to Connecticut Valley Brewing Company, where warm food and a cold beer awaits following the run !

This event is unique in that participants (over the age of 21) have the option to join in the Beer Run. Each beer runner will receive a commemorative stein to fill with Budlight at each aid station, sponsored by Demo Sales. A wintry trail run at Conway Robinson State Forest is the perfect start to your new year, whether you want to jump start a fitness program or compete out in front of the pack. Packet Pickup will be at the Fargodome lobby on Saturday morning, beginning at 6:30AM. There are several areas where there will be 2-way runner traffic so please stay to the right and be aware of passing runners.
